The UVA Health System Causes Breast Cancer in Three Different Ways,
and Keeps Their Patients in the Dark About it.

By not informing women that the steroids they are selling them en masse in the form of "birth control" pills, patches, and rings cause breast cancer.

By keeping everyone in the dark as to how progestin is particularly adept at causing breast cancer when they give the "Plan B" pills away like candy to teenagers at the Teen "Health" Center..
By not informing women that a great majority of studies have linked induced abortion to breast cancer. This is still hotly debated, and doctors and researchers continue to disagree. But it is at least a plausible risk.

"Consistent with the recent International Agency for Research on Cancer classification of Oral Contraceptives as group 1 carcinogens, this meta-analysis suggests that OCs are associated with an increase in premenopausal breast cancer risk, especially among women who use OCs before First Full Term Pregnancy (FFTP)"

Mayo Clinic

"Even women who took estrogen and progestin pills for as little as a couple of years had a greater chance of getting cancer. And when they stopped taking them, their odds quickly improved, returning to a normal risk level roughly two years after quitting"

New England Journal of Medicine

"If a woman takes the oral contraceptive pill before her First Full Term Pregnancy, she suffers a 40% increased risk of developing breast cancer compared to women who do not take Oral Contraceptive Pills. If she takes OCPs for 4 years or more prior to her FFTP, she may have an even higher risk."

"Progestins began to receive more attention when it was noted that the rate of breast cell division was highest during the luteal phase of a woman's menstrual cycle at which time progesterone levels are highest. Further studies by researchers Pike and White noted that oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) with potent progestins carried higher risks for causing breast cancer than combination OCPs that contained less potent progestins."

Chris Kahlenborn, MD

"we conclude from our analysis that the burden of proof regarding progestins has now shifted. One must now prove that an estrogen/progestin combination is safe with respect to breast cancer rather than having to prove it harmful"

"The previous assumption that progestin does not promote breast cancer development needs to be re-examined since a growing body of evidence indicates the opposite"

"As of 2006, eight medical organizations recognize that abortion raises a woman's risk for breast cancer, independently of the risk of delaying the birth of a first child (a secondary effect that all experts already acknowledge)"

Note: UVA warns of neither risk, proven or plausible.

"As of 2003, 29 out of 39 studies show that women who had an induced abortion have an increased risk of developing breast cancer, as noted in the bar graph below"

"Although the issue was subject to a vote of over 100 of the world's leading experts, the National Cancer Institute website does not state the result of the vote itself. And although the Summary Report did not mention that there was dissent, the NCI's website did post a minority dissenting comment indicating that one of the participants remains “convinced that the weight of available evidence suggests a real, independent, positive association between induced abortion and breast cancer risk"
